Why a smaller firm
You get the person who did the work, not the person who was free.
You deal with the decision-maker
The person who scopes your engagement is the person who does it and signs it. Nothing is passed down a chain and summarised back up to you.
Audit and accounting under one roof
Being a registered company auditor changes how we read a set of accounts — including the ones we didn’t audit. Independence rules mean we keep the two apart where required, and we say so up front.
Deadlines are ours, not yours
Lodgement dates, audit appointments and ASIC review dates sit on our calendar. You hear from us before the date, not after.
Plain answers
A written recommendation you can act on, in language that doesn’t require an accounting degree to follow.
Getting started
How we start
Four steps, and you can stop after the first one at no cost.
Conversation
Twenty minutes on what you do, what’s prompting the call and what’s due. No charge, and no obligation to go further.
Scope and quote
Written scope and fee before any work begins, so there’s no invoice you didn’t expect.
The work
Prepared, reviewed and lodged or signed by us, with one point of contact throughout.
Review
What we found, what it means and what to do before the next cycle.
Calendar
Dates worth knowing
Standard self-lodgement dates. Lodging through a registered tax agent generally extends them. Where a date falls on a weekend or public holiday, the ATO accepts lodgement on the next business day.
| Date | Obligation |
|---|---|
| 14 Jul | STP finalisation for employees |
| 28 Jul | Q4 BAS and June quarter super guarantee |
| 28 Aug | Taxable payments annual report |
| 31 Oct | Individual returns — self-lodgers |
| 28 Feb | Q2 BAS — December quarter |
| 21 May | FBT return — self-lodgers |
